There are 29 free events around London, so, find some time for yourself and enjoy one or more of them! Here are some suggestions:

  • Discover another aspect of Somerset House, such as evidence of Tudor intrigue and Georgian Enlightenment; all with a free guided tour through its atmospheric spaces at 1.15pm and 2.45pm.
  • Join the Roxborough Folk Choir at the Victoria and Albert Museum at 2pm for a performance of ‘Canne Brulée to Canrival’ Festival. There will be storytelling, folk songs, traditional dances and rich costumes! And guess what! It is free and suitable for all ages!
  • Don’t miss the chance to watch a free screening of a version of the speech James Stirling delivered at Yale University, having to do with the announcement he made at the International Congress of Architecture in Persepolis towards the end of 1974. It starts at 4pm, but it is 5 minutes long and is continuously playing during this hour-long screening.
