Tuesday is here and there are some great and really interesting free events taking place in London! There are 26 of them around the city and here are some suggestions:

  • Why don’t you take an Italian Grand Tour at the National Gallery and explore some great paintings from Venice, Rome and Bologna? This ‘trip’ is free and is taking place at 1pm. Places are limited however to 40 people on a first-come, first-served basis. So, arrive early in order not ot get disappointed.
  • Have you ever wondered about funerary architecture and design? Attend then this free talk at 1pm at the Victoria and Albert Museum with drawings and photographs from the RIBA and the V&A collections.
  • Don’t miss the chance to watch a free screening of a version of the speech James Stirling delivered at Yale University, having to do with the announcement he made at the International Congress of Architecture in Persepolis towards the end of 1974. It starts at 4pm, but it is 5 minutes long and is continuously playing during this hour-long screening.
